ABOUT SUBHAN SAEED

I am a Juris Doctor (J.D.) candidate and licensed paralegal with a passion for clarity, advocacy, and service through law. I bring a multidisciplinary background in psychology, digital communication, and legal research to every role I take on, whether that’s supporting criminal defense, navigating immigration systems, or assisting in complex insurance defense matters. Currently, I work as a Law Clerk at Scarfone & Geen, P.C, a leading civil defense firm that represents Fortune 500 companies and self-insured enterprises in Michigan’s no-fault insurance landscape. I’m learning firsthand how careful analysis and strategic thinking drive success in high-stakes litigation. Previously, I worked with the Michigan Department of Attorney General’s Conviction Integrity Unit, where I supported post-conviction reviews for individuals seeking justice after wrongful convictions. My experience spans both public service and private practice, giving me a well-rounded understanding of how the law impacts people’s lives. My academic training includes an Honours Bachelor of Science with Distinction from the University of Toronto, a Paralegal Diploma, and a certificate in Digital Communication. I am licensed by the Law Society of Ontario and appointed as a Notary Public by the Ontario government. Alongside my studies, I serve as Vice President of the Michigan Student Bar Association and as Associate Editor of the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review. I also competed as an oralist in the Duberstein Bankruptcy National Moot Court Competition in New York City, honing my written and oral advocacy skills. In short, I’m drawn to work that blends precision with purpose. I’m always looking for ways to deepen my impact while building trust, advancing justice, and growing in the profession.
