Agile Project Manager Roles & Responsibilities: • Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups • Coach team members in Scrum-Agile frameworks • Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration • Assist in conflict resolution and removal of blockers • Provide guidance to the team in assigning estimates and to split the tasks to be achievable in single sprint or increment • Maintain JIRA or similar platforms needed for a distributed team to effectively work together • Ensure cross-team dependencies are well-understood in plans • Assist in resolving cross-team impediments and blocking issues • Encourage team accountability, self-organization, and empowerment • Share common Scrum-Agile practices; Facilitate Retrospectives which generate new insights for process improvement and present them to PM/PO level • Maintain relevant metrics that guide the development team to more efficient processes in their work and in satisfying their Product Owner and collaborators • Active participation and preparation for agile ceremonies such as Product Increment Planning, Sprint Planning, Refinements, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives • Publish sprint planning reports to partners during sprint start • Calculate team capacity vs demand and other metrics for each sprint • Host user demo meetings end of each sprint • Monitoring and report sprint velocity and actively look to improve it • Supporting teams to plan work through focused and engaging meetings • Coaching and upskilling scrum teams in self-management and cross-functionality collaboration • Identifying and helping in the removal of barriers that are slowing down team acceleration • Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. • Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and similar tools • Experience of working in the insurance industry • Have experience working as a Project Manager in a multiple project environment with challenging timeframes and deliverables
