As a Senior Automation Engineer at Cognizant, I apply my 12 years of experience and expertise in software testing and quality assurance to deliver high-quality and reliable solutions for various clients. I hold the Scrum Master Certified (SMC), Microsoft certification and ISTQB Foundation credentials, which reflect my proficiency and knowledge in the field.I create and execute automated test scripts using Selenium web driver, Java, and Rest Assured for web and API testing, ensuring the quality and functionality of diverse applications. I also design and implement different automation frameworks, such as Cucumber BDD, Junit, TestNG, POM, and Data driven, to optimize the testing process and reduce the maintenance efforts. Additionally, I leverage my skills in cloud administration and Azure Active Directory to manage the cloud-based resources and access policies for the applications, as well as MySQL and JavaScript to perform database and script testing. I follow the best practices of SDLC, STLC, and Agile-Scrum methodologies, and use tools like JIRA and GIT for defect tracking and source code management. I collaborate with my team and higher manager to improve the processes and overcome the challenges, as well as to share my knowledge and learn from others. I am driven by a passion for learning new technologies and tools, and a commitment to delivering quality and consistency.
