Experience Fleet Maintenance Manager | Republic Services ​January 2021 - current• Provided direction to all on site technicians and maintenance employees including lead tech and supervisor to ensure all repairs and maintenance work is completed in safe, timely manner. • Responsible for scheduling, overseeing, and planning of all repair work to maximize employee productivity, reduce overtime, and allocating resources at site when appropriate. • Implemented new processes and procedures to allow for improved employee efficiency. • Accountable for daily shop huddles, fleet walk arounds and Quality Control inspections. • Responsible for coaching and training of all employees including performance reviews. • Worked with HR on hiring and termination decisions. • Responsible for maintaining the preventative maintenance program to keep costs low and fleet running efficiently.• Identify trends on road calls and break downs to help with preventative maintenance.• Oversee building maintenance and other on site repairs regularly. • Control maintenance costs by helping to maintain staff, keeping purchases to a minimum, only outsourcing repairs when necessary. • Perform inspection on all outside repairs to ensure all work is completed properly in accordance with the company safety and compliance procedures as well as federal and state regulations. • Maintain advanced knowledge of engines, chassis, vehicle body control systems, heating and cooling systems, emission systems, transmission, brakes, hydraulic, and electrical systems of heavy equipment and all other company vehicles to ensure advanced prevention maintenance on site and on road can be completed.
