The Sua Sponte Foundation (SSF) was created in 2010 to provide assistance to the men and families of the 1st Ranger Battalion. The Foundation is a registered 501(c)3 and an all volunteer organization comprised of veteran 1/75 Rangers and patriotic civilians.

Mission Statement: As a registered 501(c)3 The Sua Sponte Foundation (SSF) strives to provide immediate support to the Warriors and families of the 1st Ranger Battalion. Our mission includes, but is not limited to: supporting the immediate and urgent needs of Rangers and their families during times of crisis; maintaining, to the highest standard, the 1/75 Memorial located on Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah, Georgia and creating/funding events that serve to increase the morale and cohesiveness of both the men and families of 1/75.
