Have you ever wondered how the Voyager probes, launched in 1977 and now drifting through interstellar space, are still functioning after nearly half a century?The mysterious power source that keeps them going in the most inhospitable of environments is a fascinating technology called Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generators (RTGs), which are my research topic.With a background spanning physics, chemistry, energy engineering, and space power systems, and having lived in four different countries, I’ve developed both a broad scientific foundation and an adaptable personality. With a highly curious and forward-thinking mindset, striving for continuous learning and personal improvement, I am highly honoured and excited to help advance the field I am most passionate about: space exploration!
