I have 18 years of experience helping brands find their voice, connect with their people, and stay relevant—for the right reasons. My work starts with understanding what people actually want from brands, not just what brands want to say, and turning that insight into strategy, content, and campaigns that meet people where they are.My career spans social media, branding, PR, content marketing, influencer strategy, and cultural insight—the overlapping spaces where brands, culture, and people actually meet. I’ve worked at independent creative agencies in L.A. and Portland, spent time at larger digital shops, and ran my own agency, Stylesmith, for a decade. Along the way, I’ve partnered with global brands and emerging ones alike, always with strategy at the center.More recently, I’ve been doing freelance and embedded work with agencies and brand teams—supporting brand, communications, and social strategy, as well as new business and pitch work. It’s hands-on, collaborative work that helps teams move forward with confidence.Elmo describes strategy as “a plan to solve a problem.” Elmo smart. My approach is empathy-first, shaped by years of community building and audience-first content creation. I blend cultural insight with data to understand what resonates, then help teams turn that into marketing magic.Beyond the day job, I’ve spent years building and supporting creative communities—running influencer and creator collectives, working in fashion and culture spaces, and launching Mother Supper, a Portland-based supper club and community for moms.I’m culturally attuned, chronically online, and endlessly curious about how digital and real-world communities shape our lives.
