The Student Voice is a proactive, preventative tool, empowering students to become responsible and active participants in building safer communities, and develop a stronger safeguarding culture in schools and universities. Advises (1) schools and colleges to have clear reporting lines for students, and (2) to implement a contextual safeguarding approach, acknowledging that harm also takes place outside of the home (in schools, communities, with peers, and in places without adult supervision). Contextual information. Being location based and visually interactive, our tool has identified wider community and school culture issues that have enabled our schools to work with local authorities, police and parents to intercept issues and prevent future harm.
