As the On-Ground Privacy Lead, I am a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E) and lawyer, responsible for implementing and overseeing privacy programs at a local level within my organization. My work ensures that our day-to-day operations and products align with the company\'s core business objectives and privacy tenets.I bridge the gap between legal theory and practical application. I\'m skilled at translating complex legal requirements into clear, actionable policies and procedures for our teams. My responsibilities include:Conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) to identify and mitigate privacy risks in new projects.Managing data subject access requests and other privacy-related inquiries.Developing and delivering privacy training to educate employees on their responsibilities.Collaborating with various departments (e.g, IT, marketing, product development) to embed a privacy-by-design approach.Serving as the primary point of contact for local data protection authorities and internal stakeholders on privacy matters.My expertise in both law and privacy certification allows me to build and maintain a robust privacy framework that protects both our organization and our customers.
