1. Technical Specialist Literacy

   Research and Innovation-Led technical research on Early Grade Literacy in theory and practice and created innovative strategies for scaling up-Led the development of external-facing knowledge products for the organization in collaboration with the global team, MLE in the Indian Context, Science of Reading etc-Work closely with the RM & E team to design the evaluation tools, data-driven strategies, and data-based goal settings for various projectsInstruction Design and Training-Led the creation of a literacy instruction including a Teacher Guide, student workbook, and conversation charts and supported TLMs for across projects-Designed and trained the Master trainers,This got further cascaded to teachers across states under various projects-Involved in training the SRG groups and other government stakeholders -Led the process of creating quality classrooms for the Demo projectsExpansion of the literacy portfolio -Emergent Literacy was always a part of the Room to Read but post NIPUN, there has been a special focus on the Aaganwadi in alignment with Grades 1 and 2. Lead the research project to create an ECE vision and instruction portfolio under the literacy portfolio-Led the research on MLE in the Indian context and created strategies to be embedded in the instruction design -Created the concept notes and strategies to ensure that every document is seen through a lens of gender responsiveness, dignity and is contextualised to its usage. Technical assistance to the states -Involved in various discussions with the state officials on literacy at scale, like SCF creation in Delhi, Mission Ankur instruction designAwards and Recognition-Year 1: Awarded with Golden Eagle award – Tope managers across the organization globally -Year 2: awarded with Thought Leader of the Year and CARE award – two top awards of the organization-Led the conceptual framework for National Summits at the regional and country levels and other departments.
