ABOUT STU ANDERSON
An an experienced business leader and project manager with extensive experience as an owner/manager, practitioner and academic in the field of business and entrepreneurship. My career has spanned many sectors including phama, arts & theatre, Oil & Gas, NPO & Public. I currently lead the Cornwall and IoS Growth and Skills Hub. Previously, I was was founder of Blue Serac, an international business improvement consultancy which focused on leadership development, project management and development and research & evaluation- particularly around entrepreneurship, enterprise development and CSR. I have wide experience of developing and working on projects in \'hard to reach\' communities and post conflict economies (for example Bosnia and Herzegovina). I have also developed and supported many organisations in the delivery of projects around regeneration, entrepreneurship/enterprise development and CSR. I had a successful tenure as Executive Director of Shell LiveWIRE, Shell\'s largest Social Investment Programme for Young Entrepreneurs investing in highly creative, high growth, early stage companies.I have been involved in many roles at a national level. My work has spanned the top level of both the private and public sector in the UK working with key stakeholders such as Ministers, Parliamentarians (MPs & Lords), CEOs and the Royal Family on developing projects and policy (for example- an architect for the Start Up Loans initiative). I was a co-founder of the National Working Group for Youth Enterprise (a multi-agency group with the support of Richard Branson), a member of the advisory board to the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Entrepreneurship chaired by Lord Erroll, a member of the Enterprise Education Sub Group for the APPG on Micro Business chaired by Anne Marie-Morris MP and a Ministerial Ambassador for Global Entrepreneurship Week. I have also worked extensively with the United Nations in Geneva on Enterprise Education and Youth Enterprise Development. I was a board member of the Institute for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (ISBE).
