My journey in the music industry, from a Lincolnshire youth in a band to becoming a recording artist at Universal Music and composing soundtracks for iconic commercials at London agency, including the original Go Compare ads with Jeff Wayne Music, over a fifteen year contrat. This provided firsthand insight into the industry\'s evolution. Throughout, I\'ve acquired skills to navigate the current age, where music is a leading force.I focus on developing musical works including theatre shows, composing for media, sound design and culture and heritage projects, along with education initiatives.My musical, Frank\'s Closet, initially staged at Hoxton Hall, London, enjoyed three productions in London in 2024, and was nominated at the Union Theatre, London, and garnered 5 Off West End award nominations. It\'s currently in pre-production for Wilton’s Music Hall in London’s East End, slated for September 2024.Additionally, I\'ve worked extensively with choirs, earning accolades such as the Cultural Olympiad Inspire Award for my cantata, When I Move, The World Moves Too, commissioned by the Leeds Youth Choir and percussion ensemble.Before relocating, I served as Musical Director at Upright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles, delighting audiences with our innovative approach to musical theatre.I\'ve also contributed to the creative community at Core Arts Hackney, London, leading music workshops supporting individuals with long-term mental health issues.As a Goldsmiths graduate with both a music degree and musical theatre master\'s, I\'m dedicated to leveraging my skills to inspire and empower others through music\'s transformative power.
