About Santosh Wadekar
As a creative professional, I wear many hats. From an internationally acclaimed interior architect to a national award winning actor. A poet and singer to an artist and a photographer. These are the boons of a creative soul. Research on Historic design Period styles in Europe and India and architectural conservation and restoration are causes closer to my heart. Being one of the top finalist at the “peoples Notre dame award” at Paris, France, from amongst 265 entires worldwide has just paved the way for further excellence in this cause. As a recipient of many top international recognitions, like the British council’s finalist “International Young Design Entrepreneur”, or the I dogi Awards, Venice, Italy, I endeavor to promote creativity in all its forms and manifestation. Be it as the head of my boutique studioSW or a visiting faculty at top design schools in Mumbai, or as a motivational speaker conducting design workshops across design centers, to training school children in design awareness as a part of our initiative ARKIN, this focus has always been at the forefront of my mission.The most invigorating is the hands on steering of my design firm StudioSW to set international benchmarks in the high end residential interior architecture segment. Having Indias top HNI\'s as clients certainly makes the process even more exacting. Studiosw has within a very brief time sussessfully executed more than 60 projects and has become a name synonymous with luxury design in its many manifestations. From quality of light flooding a space, to the anthropometric proportions of furniture, to cutting edge home technology, to the freshness of air quality, studioSW strives to leave no stone unturned for the personal comfort for its Jet set clients. Majority of the sites executed are in the posh upmarket south Mumbai and studioSW possess the right \"glocal\"( global + local) know how of the market.Over time our local and international resource networks thrive with knowledge and opportunities that we are able to pass on to our clients, thus making studioSW an endearing service provider for most of our repeat clientele.
