Provide engineering solutions and technical input during design phase with anemphasis on safety that meet design requirements.Responsible for checking and approval of design deliverables in accordance withdiscipline checks.Focal point for engineering vendors including creation and review of projectdocumentation to define design requirements.Identify deviations to standards ensuring acceptance and approval by client technicalauthorities.Technical input and authoring discipline project elements including Basis of Design,Scope of Work, and Requirements.Responsible for discipline content in generating and checking estimated study, design,procurement costs into project CTR’s.Attend FAT’s and ensure equipment meets design requirements.Ensure legislation, standards, HS & E regulations, ATEX directives are met acrossengineering aspects of projects.Note progress against project plans, noting any areas of concern, and identify corrective actions.
