ABOUT STUART CHAPMAN
Stu leads Strategic’s Operational Due Diligence (ODD) team. In this role, Stu reviews and analyzes the corporate governance, operational processes and accounting controls of investment managers and vehicles. Additionally, he also is a member of Strategic’s Community Engagement and Advancement Committee, a cross-functional team that works to foster equitable access to opportunities within the firm and encourages broader interest in the financial industry through meaningful community outreach. Prior to joining Strategic, Stu was a Senior Internal Auditor for Capital Markets at Fannie Mae. He also worked as a Financial Analyst at Standard & Poor’s and as a Senior Securities Analyst at Wells Fargo Bank. Stu holds an M.B.A. from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and a B.A. in Economics from Vanderbilt University. He is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Financial Services Auditor (CFSA), has a Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA), and been awarded the CFA Institute Investment Foundations™ certificate.
