ABOUT STUART MCKELVIE

I\'m Stuart McKelvie, and I help small businesses and nonprofits make technology work better for their missions. Growing up on a farm in rural Australia, I was fascinated by the technology we didn\'t have access to. That curiosity led me on a winding path from auditing at KPMG to managing a camera store, creating content, running social media campaigns, improving library systems, hosting podcasts, and teaching digital skills workshops. Now based in Canada, I work with Youth Science Canada as their Manager of Communications & Development, where I get to combine strategic communications with fundraising to support young innovators across the country. Whether it\'s migrating complex tech systems, building online communities, or creating content that connects with audiences, I love finding practical solutions that help organizations do more with less. My approach is straightforward: listen first, understand what\'s really needed, then find the simplest path to get there. I\'ve learned that the best technology solutions are the ones people actually use, and the most effective strategies are the ones that fit how organizations really work. When I\'m not knee-deep in CRM systems or crafting fundraising campaigns, you\'ll find me exploring British Columbia\'s incredible landscapes or planning the next adventure. What I do best: Digital strategy, nonprofit fundraising, content creation, community building, and making complex systems simple.
