About Stu Linscott
If you want to go quickly, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” That adage resonates with me, and it reflects my approach to leadership at Washington Trust Bank and in the community. I love to help people, businesses and nonprofit organizations succeed, and I believe collaboration is a key ingredient. As Regional President at Washington Trust Bank, I encourage our bankers to start by listening closely to our customers. Our bankers develop a deep understanding of each client and the nuances of their situation, their business and their industry. That insight enables us to make sound recommendations and implement optimal solutions that address their challenges. Today, my responsibilities encompass Washington Trust Bank’s East and South Puget Sound Commercial and Private Banking and Western Washington Commercial Construction Real Estate Groups. To each, I bring:• A dedication to building strong, beneficial partnerships• A commitment to being involved and invested• An ability to formulate and implement sustainable solutions • A desire to maintain open communications and exceed expectationsWhether I am working with commercial real estate clients seeking construction lending or individuals seeking private banking or wealth management services, I approach each client with the same dedication and focus, and I encourage my teams to do the same. I’m proud to be part of a family-owned bank where we strive to find the best solutions for our clients. This is a bank with a culture that values taking care of people, and it has a long history of stepping up in good times and in bad. Outside of Washington Trust Bank, I value spending time with my wife and two children, enjoying the many stages of family life and outdoor sporting activities of the Pacific Northwest.Strengths: leadership | commercial banking | commercial real estate | private banking | wealth management
