I am extremely proud to be leading Morecambe FC Community Foundation to deliver high quality services that meet the needs of our community,I am an enthusiastic, passionate and dedicated individual who has delivered the highest possible standard of service to the community for over 20 years in a variety of roles.My strength is working with vulnerable, under represented groups and individuals to ensure they have access to high quality facilities and activities and are supported to access them. I am also passionate about demonstrating the social value and importance of sport, health and wellbeing I enjoy managing and developing people and I have extensive experience of working within HR policies and proceduresI have extensive operational management experience at an award-winning Leisure Centre. Managing multi-disciplinary teams in catering, health & fitness, customer service, duty management, administration, cleaning, maintenance and activity staff, Spa team, class instructors, swim teachers, sports coaches and external contractors.I was instrumental in transformation Salt Ayre Leisure Centre from a tired, dated facility with the threat of closure into an award winning multi-offer site with inspiring, innovative, engaging and inclusive leisure offer, complemented with successful marketing campaigns, branding and a vibrant social media presence.I led on the cultural change within the Leisure operation and the wider organisation by introducing operational standards, expectations and reviewing processes and procedures An experienced events manager. working on the Queens visit, Olympic Torch relay, Lancaster Grand Prix, The International Youth Games and local council annual events.Significant experience of community and sports development. Working with clubs, friends’ groups, sport’s governing bodies, community organisations to introduce constitutions, produce development plans and secured funding for activity, coaching and facilities.
