Managing and growing a team of talented business analysts/product owners who provide the agile/scrum feature teams with the domain experience and requirements needed for software development in life science. I work directly with customers and stakeholders, at all levels of the business, to identify product needs, gain consensus and ultimately transfer these needs into product investment decisions that will provide business value to the customer via product strategies and roadmaps. I regularly create pieces of marketing material that describe the value that business can achieve by using IDBS products. In addition, I contribute to a number of industry forums such as PhUSE. I am also responsible for identifying regulatory requirements, such as GxP and 21 CFR Part 11, that have an impact on how the software is developed, deployed and/or used, both on-premise and within the public cloud. I am the product manager for The E-WorkBook GxP Cloud - IDBS’ market leading complete end-to-end, cloud-based, research and development platform. As a member of the product engineering leadership team, I am responsible for ensuring that the product and engineering strategies are aligned so that work can be delivered efficiently. This also includes enabling improvements in how the product and engineering teams operate. I have also been an active member of cross operating company initiatives to develop standard work that reduces software time to value. I am experienced in both waterfall and agile development methods. In 2015, I helped lead the transition, from a product manager/owner point of view, IDBS’ move from a waterfall to an agile development process.
