Experienced Freelance 1st Assistant Director with over 18 years in the film and TV industry, across features, scripted drama, commercials, and independent productions.Known for running well-prepared, calm, and inclusive sets, with a strong focus on clear communication, practical planning, and keeping shoots on time and within budget. I bring a confident, collaborative approach to the floor, supporting directors and producers in balancing creative goals with real-world logistics.I have extensive experience leading complex shoot days, including VFX sequences, crowd scenes, and child licensed hours, always ensuring compliance and safety while maintaining efficiency. I’m confident managing full prep-to-wrap schedules and day-to-day production needs, with a strong understanding of crew coordination and on-set dynamics.In addition to 1st AD work, I’ve also worked as a local Production Manager on features including Robert the Bruce and Hellboy (2019), and as a Location Manager on large-scale projects such as World War Z, Fast & Furious 6, and T2 Trainspotting.
