ABOUT STUART ANDERSON

I help professional services and corporate finance firms, and businesses throughout the financial services ecosystem, build and maintain reputations for excellence to oil the wheels of business. This is achieved by working with journalists to generate earned media coverage. I also work with businesses involved in M&A transactions to control the narrative around deals, communicate the correct messages to key audiences/stakeholders and help boost future deal flow. Engaging in public relations makes your business understood and respected by its most important audiences, including current and prospective customers, investors and finance providers, current and potential employees, the community in which you operate, your competitors and other market participants. Crucially, the media coverage achieved by your business will also help it ensure it surfaces in AI search summaries and recommendations: the rapidly emerging discipline of \"generative engine optimisation\"(GEO). I established my own PR practice, Alpha Public Relations, in 2017, having previously worked in-house as head of communications for a financial planning and investment management boutique. Prior to that, I spent many years as a business and financial services journalist, covering topics including corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, entrepreneurship, organisational and personal pensions, and commercial and personal lines insurance.
