G W Martin is a family owned precision engineering business supplying CNC machined components and assemblies to a variety of sectors including medical, defence, automotive, electrical, and filtration industries. The business was established in 1959 by George William Martin and employs over 50 people. We are very proud of our commitment to quality and the environment and are accredited to ISO9001, ISO14001 and hold CyberEssentials Plus. Registered with JOSCAR we directly support UK primes with major projectsStuart joined the business in 2011 as Manager as part of the strategic succession plan, and took on the role of Managing Director in 2014. Recent investments reinforce our strong manufacturing capability and enable us to provide a “one stop shop” service. These include increased automation and new production plant (Mazak HQR, Mazak MPX 200, CMZ TTL, CMZ TA, Miyano ABX51 and ABX64, Index C200 and Index ABC), a Mitutoyo Coordinate Measuring Machine and Formtracer, and the implementation of CADCAM software.
