Manage complete tender process to secure good quality capital business for Baker Hughes Oilfield Equipment Subsea Production Systems organisation. Lead a matrix team of approx. 50 people on projects scaling up to $1billon in value. Primarily support global centre of excellence focused on the tendering, sales and supply of Subsea Xmas-trees, manifolds, controls and support services. Recent regional experience includes managing complex deals in Libya, Angola, Norway, Egypt and Russia.Responsibilities include:• Development of winning solutions• Collate, produce and deliver high quality tender submissions and subsequent clarification responses.• Manage deal team to provide formal response to tender and negotiate eventual order• Chair all internal meetings related to tender development.• Provide single point of contact between business and customer for all communications from pre-qualification through to award.• Obtain guidance and approvals for deviations to standard offerings• Create commercial proposal in order to gain executive management approval for tender submissions.• Respond to all customer clarifications post tender submittal.• Finalise project schedule and capacity charts• Own all processes from opportunity identification to delivery of tender to customer• Prepare order handover package to project management, engineering and manufacturing teams• Establish and maintain engagement and excellent working relationships with clients to secure new work.• Lead bid review meetings and commercial risk management reviews during tender phase and ensure adequate mitigations are applied.• Create tender review presentations in order to gain Senior & Executive Management approvals where required.• Compile and evaluate costs, pricing, commercial risks.• Critically review and challenge all commercial inputs, hours, costs, cashflow and contingency• Ensure engineering and manufacturing capacity exist to support the execution of potential orders.
