As subject matter expert within the bank for the Infoblox platform and technology, my position has the responsibility for the internal platform hosting the DNS, DHCP and IPAM services which support the banks IP connected devices and underpins all the services and applications. As well as being responsible for the internal DDI services/platform, I also am accountable for the external DNS services that provide access to the banks online digital portfolio which our customers and partners are reliant on for day to day activities and services.We strive to design and deliver solutions that allow the bank to move forward in the delivery of services and applications, making use of cloud service providers and working with, and deploying services in to, AWS and Azure.This role includes having to perform the following functions-o Engagement and working with third party outsourcing companieso Working with technology partners to identify resourcing requirements and service delivery opportunities by making use of the capabilities available on the platform.o Manage project engagement and delivery expectationso Interface with the project teams that deliver and require guidance and design consultation for their desired project outcome.o Vendor engagement and relationship buildingo Working with the banks strategic service providers seeking opportunities for platform development and service adoptiono Engaging the banks service providers for regular reviews and platform development planning/discussionso ITIL Service Management Frameworko Defining and managing support processes, change management and incident recoveryo Defining roadmaps and platform strategyo Risk management and ownershipo Identifying potential risks within the platform and environment, raising the appropriate level risk(s) for visibility, correction and managing these situations to closure.
