Having joined Francis Clark back in 2011 as a senior manager, I am now a partner and head up our Complex Corporate Tax team. I have extensive experience in the following areas- R&D tax credits- patent box- SAO obligations- business risk review processes- tax related governance and controls assurance - transfer pricing and Pillar TwoI also work with start up and scale up companies with significant amounts of capital behind them with a further focus on the following areas- SEIS / EIS fundraising - share option schemes- group structuring / re-structuring- international expansion- exit planningI studied Commerce at The University of Birmingham, am a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) and hold the Advanced Diploma of International Taxation (ADIT), including the Transfer Pricing accreditation. From April 2025 I have become a member of the ICAEW Business Tax Committee and R&D working group. I am also currently studying for the Diploma of Taxation Technology.
