About Stuart Nelson

Stuart is a visionary non-profit leader, working with a talented team to envision, execute, and sustain educational, research, and direct service programs at the intersection of spirituality and health. Throughout his career, Stuart has led the way in securing multi-million dollar grants, spoken in international venues, served on several non-profit boards, published in peer-reviewed journals, and delivered dozens of impactful programs. He emphasizes servant leadership, interdisciplinary collaboration, and results-driven strategies.Stuart grew up overseas and attended international schools until college. During his time abroad he gained a deep appreciation for various cultures and ways of life, which has led him to his current work in applied religious studies. He holds bachelors degrees in cognitive science, psychology, and religious studies, a master\'s degree in religious studies, and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in mind-body medicine with a specialization in mindful leadership in healthcare.Stuart is a creatively-minded lover of hip-hop, classic rock, and classical Indian music, as well as impressionism, surrealism, and modern art. Additionally, he is an avid birder, sailor, and triathlete.
