I’m an experienced Mechanical Technician with 24+ years’ hands-on experience, including 15 years in the Motor Trade and 9+ years in Renewables. I’ve supported wind turbine performance across both offshore and onshore environments, while providing leadership within service, major component and troubleshooting teams.In my current role with Vestas Offshore, I support wind farm operations at Seagreen Wind Farm as a V164 Authorised Live Tester. I bring strong technical depth across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and control systems, with a safety-first mindset shaped by years of safety-critical work and strict compliance standards.Alongside my technical background, I have held previous management and supervisory roles where I was responsible for leading teams, coordinating workloads, mentoring technicians, and ensuring work was delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This experience has given me a strong understanding of people management, planning, and accountability, and I’m comfortable taking responsibility on the job when required.What I’m best at is combining technical capability with leadership — supporting technicians, coordinating work, solving problems quickly, and reducing turbine downtime without compromising safety or quality.
