Leadership of a highly skilled, diverse and experienced Engineering team covering all aspects of Engineering within Agricarbon to lead to the development and build of our novel ASCA (Automated Soil Carbon Analysis) platform and it\'s ancillary equipment. Initially starting up in Dundee, Scotland, we employed 9 Engineers covering R&D, Machine design & build as well as ongoing Maintenance of the machines already in production. After just over 1 year in this role we embarked on the challenge of setting up a new site in the USA. As Head of Engineering, I led all technical and practical aspects of setting up this new site, building and moving an ASCA machine over to the US, hiring the new local team and getting the site production ready. This project ran from concept to operational readiness took a total of 12 months. Designed Electrical & Control system to meet UL specifications (Incl. National Electrical Code) for the USA. Professional:I am a highly motivated Engineering Manager with extensive experience in the automotive industry. Skilled in Electro-mechanical Troubleshooting, Lean Manufacturing, Contractor Management, Leadership, and Project Management. Strong program and project management professional with a BEng (Hons) focused in Engineering from The Open University.I have been enthusiastic about technology from a young age and have developed my appreciation and understanding in all engineering fields since. I find technical troubleshooting and problem solving extremely rewarding. Design and development of new ideas is exciting and working in teams to innovate makes engineering more attractive. I have developed a passion for leadership and people management in recent years. Developing others can be as rewarding as self-development. Focus, organisation and strong communication have helped me drive my successful career to date by leading from the front.I thrive in challenging and high pressure environments while working in an autonomous manner.
