Over the course of my career, have held various roles as an individual contributor, leader and manager, working effectively with attorneys, paralegals and non-legal staff members. Current areas of focus include managing a personal caseload, improving operations, marketing/relationship development and training/development of staff to support firm’s expansion into new areas. Career details and highlights: Early Career – Staff Attorney/Associate – Worked in the firm’s main office in Atlanta. Handled a high volume of cases of default cases. Developed expertise in title work. Promoted to a closing office, handling a combination of closings and title work. Team Leader/Manager – Contributor to the firm’s constant growth, driven in part by the increase in REO files. Given increasing responsibilities in staff supervision. Promoted to Managing Attorney for daily operations of the Closing Department in 2005. Duties expanded to include increased involvement in firm operations, including policy/procedure and software systems. During a period of time, the firm’s point person in relationship with a company which was managing the firm’s non-legal staff members. Partner/Firm Growth – Promoted to Partner in 2011. Over the course of career, the firm has grown from 40 attorneys and 150 staff members in a single state to its current status, with 100+ attorneys in three states with 500+ staff. Given responsibility of managing the Eviction Department in 2013 on top of the Closing Department. Driven by a constant focus on firm mission of “providing our clients with superior and cost effective representation.”Future Vision – Playing a leading role in diversifying into retail closings. Developing relationships with Atlanta area lenders and agents. Implementing a quick response, high touch approach to building McCalla’s brand through the consistent delivery of exceptional service.
