As a member of the specialist Trade Compliance legal team the Trade Compliance Manager provides\\\\nTrade Compliance (export and import), AML, ABC and Commodity Trading advice and support to various Shell businesses.\\\\nMy position is part of a virtual team with members in other worldwide locations. I am part of a global team of Trade Compliance Managers and my role is to provide advice and guidance for specialist Trade Compliance, AML, ABC and Commodity Trading issues.\\\\nI lead the Trading and Supply business in assessing risk exposure based on sufficient knowledge of applicable Trade Compliance regulations and Shell procedures. I work closely with the Trade Compliance Officer, Trade Compliance lawyers and the Trading and\\\\nSupply staff to resolve and avoid Trade Compliance issues (e.g. application of sanctions, imports,\\\\nexports, anti-boycott issues). I also direct and advise (consultancy) to the Group Customs Subject Matter Experts and indirect tax staff on import and customs issues as well as with the Trading and Supply Focal Points to address escalations of counterparty screening results. I also lead relationships with Trade Compliance focal points in the Trading and Supply Business.\\\\n\\\\nI need to have and maintain a robust working knowledge of the Trading and Supply business to enable integration of mandatory Trade Compliance procedures into their business processes to manage and mitigate identified Trade Compliance risks.\\\\nI keep apprised of changes in regulatory requirements to manage Shell global trade compliance risks. My role promotes awareness of Trade Compliance risks and required processes throughout the organization and to gather and report information on Trade Compliance activities as required for internal and external reporting\\\\npurposes.\\\\nI lead on collaboration with relevant risk assurance, finance and compliance staff (e.g, GRAs, ECOs, Ethics and Compliance Managers) in the respective organizations\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
