ABOUT STUART ESTELL
I am a TOGAF 9.1 qualified Architect with over 21 years of IT industry experience, including in the energy sector. I am passionate about strategy, user experience, and the practicalities (and group psychology) and politics of digital transformation. I am particularly interested in the shaping of a digital culture that promotes continuous learning and capability development, and the impact that such a culture can have on an organisation as a whole.I am the Head of Strategy & Architecture for Uniper\'s Collaboration and Integration Technologies department, and have worked in positions of leadership on a number of high-profile initiatives including data centre migration, rollout of the Uniper Digital Workplace and the corporate carve-out of Uniper from E.ON across the application, data and technology domains. I oversee a portfolio of Enterprise Content Management, Web, Mobility, Integration, BI & Analytics.Outside work, I am a keen linguist, writer, and musician; I am a classically-trained pianist, folk singer, concertina-player, and guitarist. A 2015 collaboration with comedian Stewart Lee led to a duo performance at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London at the 80th birthday celebrations of English Folk Dance and Song Society president Shirley Collins. I\'ve performed with a wide variety of respected alternative artists, including Graham Coxon of Blur, Trees, The Fall, Ted Chippington, KK Null, Oxbow, UfoMammut and Om.
