Project Planning & Coordination. Develop project scopes, objectives, schedules, and execution plans. Coordinate engineering tasks across disciplines (mechanical, electrical, civil, etc.). Support project managers in defining milestones and deliverables. Technical Engineering Support. Provide technical guidance during design, procurement, construction, and commissioning. Review engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations. Ensure technical solutions meet project requirements and industry standards.3. Cost, Budget & Risk Management. Create and maintain project cost estimates and forecasts. Identify risks and develop mitigation plans. Support procurement by evaluating technical bids and ensuring vendor compliance.4. Stakeholder Communication. Serve as a technical liaison between engineering teams, project management, contractors, and clients. Prepare and deliver project status updates, engineering reports, and presentations. Ensure timely resolution of technical issues.5. Quality Assurance & Compliance. Ensure engineering work aligns with codes, standards, and company procedures. Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs, constructability reviews, and audits. Verify that materials and equipment meet required specifications.6. Construction & Field Support. Provide engineering assistance during installation, testing, and commissioning. Troubleshoot field issues and propose corrective actions. Conduct site visits to verify progress and alignment with design.7. Documentation & Reporting. Maintain engineering records, change logs, and approval documentation. Develop technical reports, manuals, and closeout packages.8. Project Management. Provide coverage for PMs in their absence. Management small-to-medium projects directly. Lead continuous improvement or innovation initiatives.9. Mentorship. Mentor junior PEs and others.
