I have worked in the power and utilities sector for over 36 years. I have a wide experience of advising on strategy, the delivery of strategic and regulatory change, and on securing regulatory compliance.Before founding Complete Strategy I was PwC\'s Head of Utility Strategy & Regulation. I am also a former member of the Gas & Electricity Markets Authority (GEMA, Ofgem’s Board). Beginning with the first energy industry price control review (for National Grid in I have a long track record of price control processes: I have advised over 20 different price control teams. I also supported six organisations during appeals to the Competition & Markets Authority. Separately, I have supported five companies facing Ofgem enforcement investigations.I am an experienced programme manager. I have been at the heart of industry change programmes in the UK, including the Faster Switching programme, Project Nexus, Electricity Market Reform, and the design and implementation of arrangements to support retail competition.Whilst at Ofgem, I led the division responsible for network policy and was subsequently appointed as Managing Director of Ofgem E-Serve. My role spanned all aspects of policy for the electricity and gas distribution and transmission businesses, and the administration of government schemes. I am a Member of the Association for Project Management.
