ABOUT STUART BEATSON

I am a Partner and Head of Restructuring and Insolvency at Glaisyers ETL. I am a highly experienced restructuring and insolvency lawyer with over 17 years’ experience advising insolvency practitioners, directors, lenders and investors on complex corporate recovery matters across the UK.My practice covers the full lifecycle of financial distress and enforcement. I regularly advise administrators on all aspects of administrations, including appointments, pre-pack sales, trading issues, landlord and tenant matters, retention of title claims and asset realisation strategies. I have extensive experience acting on distressed business and asset sales across a wide range of sectors, including manufacturing, logistics, retail, leisure and multi-site organisations.Alongside office holder work, I advise directors and boards on their duties and liabilities when companies are facing financial difficulty. This includes advising on restructuring and refinancing options and the acquisition of businesses and assets from insolvency office holders.
