ABOUT STUART ANDERSON

Stuart has over 25 years of experience in transportation planning, parking studies, traffic engineering, and road safety reviews. Stuart has reviewed and planned for the transportation impacts of many large proposed land developments in Ontario, including planning to accommodate travel demands from all modes of transportation. Stuart has also managed strategic parking projects for municipalities and institutions across Ontario and Canada, including review of supply and demand, and financial analysis of alternatives for construction and operation of parking facilities. Stuart has also provided expert opinion on Development Charges appeals. Stuart has extensive experience in analyzing and planning for the transportation impacts of new developments from initial concept planning and site selection through to detailed capacity analysis, and has given expert evidence on traffic and parking at the Ontario Land Tribunal, and its predecessors (the LPAT and OMB). Stuart has on several occasions been a co-presenter for Ontario Traffic Council workshops on the preparation of Transportation Impact Studies, preparing and co-presenting OTC’s Advanced Transportation Impact Study Workshop in 2014, 2015, and 2016. Stuart was a member of the Ontario Traffic Council’s Parking Committee from 2009 to 2013, and a member of the Traffic Engineering Committee from 20••••18.
