Lead department responsible for structuring transactions, approvals and syndications to banks as well as bank relationship management. Oversee capital markets/funding, risk management and portfolio management of Oracle’s global customer financing business. Accountable for Individual credit authority of $30M, supporting originations of $3B annually and managing retained risk portfolio of approximately $1B. Manage on-balance sheet receivables portfolio of $350M+, liquid securities portfolio of $250M+ with attractive returns and no material losses. Recruited and established 5 regional teams in key markets globally that provided funding, risk management and approval coverage for customer’s financing business utilizing all major languages covered. Supported 5x business volumes increase with 2x staff increase over 10 years. Created customized paying agency program in 2010 for US market and global program in 2013 for major international markets. Integrated multiple acquisitions including PeopleSoft, Siebel and Sun Microsystems with reductions in overall headcount while integrating responsibilities into existing department. Developed and implemented funding strategy for global business utilizing mix of retained financing receivables, non-recourse sales, and funded reserve pool programs. Built robust funding programs of $2.5B annually in US and internationally through strategic relationships with industry leading banks. Implemented successful multi-currency regional structured funding program in Asia Pac and North America regions with approval rates of 90%+ and minimal loss rates under 1%.
