ABOUT JANE STROMBERG
I have expertise in climate change and sustainable development, which I use to mobilize and educate communities, policymakers, and stakeholders on the urgency and solutions of the climate crisis. I also leverage my political background and network to advocate for progressive and environmental policies at the local and state level. I am a proud alumna of the University of Vermont, where I earned two degrees in Environmental and Political Science, while exploring other interests such as the Japanese language, Aikido, improv, sailing, and skiing. I was the youngest woman elected to the Burlington City Council with record voter turnout, and served on various committees related to transportation, energy, utilities, charter changes, public safety, and licensing. I have also worked in the renewable energy industry, supporting solar projects and campaigns across Vermont and New Hampshire. I am passionate about social, racial, and economic justice, and I strive to make a positive impact in my community and beyond.
