About Katelyn Stringer
Hello and welcome to my page! In graduate school, I specialized in large-scale time series analysis and classification with sparse and noisy data. With my colleagues in the Dark Energy Survey, I located thousands of old variable stars which can be used to tell distances to smaller galaxies orbiting the Milky Way. I recently joined the data science team at Capital One. I strongly believe science is for everyone and have spent hundreds of hours on science outreach.
