About Christopher Strehmel
Marine Engineer with 13+ years of experience in dredging and marine construction, including a decade in the field with Great Lakes Dredge & Dock where I worked on over 60 projects along the East Coast & the Gulf. There I led engineering and field operations on channel deepening & maintenance, beach nourishment, land reclamation, drilling and blasting operations, along with rock digging projects. Currently at Foth, I continue to support coastal infrastructure, waterfront, and dredging projects through design, grant work, permitting, bathymetric & topographic surveys, and construction. I applied they hired may have been my entry into the marine construction industry but having dedicated my career to the waterside world I truly do enjoy the work & seeing the success all the engineers I\'ve trained have had in the industry.
