The Contemporary Theatre of Ohio\'s purpose is to harness the transformational power of theatre for the current moment, while inspiring empathy across the community for young people and adults. Through professional mainstage productions, we share stories the illuminate important issues in our community, and make space for meaningful conversations. Additionally, we work with young people of all ages to help them to grow academically, socially, and emotionally through theatre education experiences in the classroom and across the community.In my role, I oversee all administrative functions of the company - marketing, development, operations, accounting, human resources, IT, and ticketing. My motto is to \"create a path for artists and creative professionals to do their very best work.\"Impact:* Employing and supporting more than 100 artists and creative workers annually* Measuring the ways The Contemporary\'s work sparks empathy for the children and adults who experience our work.* Secured to produce, digitally record, and stream a play for children and families to help them manage and cope with anxiety.* Secured a National Endowment for the Arts Challenge America grant* Annually raise more than in contributed revenue; and more than in federal stimulus funds during the COVID19 pandemic.
