I’ve been in technology close to 20 years. The first half of that was spent in practice: building, managing, fixing, and leading. The second half has been about learning and teaching: designing curriculum, authoring courses, working with taxonomies, and trying to bring order to the chaos of skills.What ties those chapters together is a love of nuance. I’m drawn to complicated systems, to sorting out what matters and what doesn’t, and to leaving behind something clearer than what I found. Whether it’s technical training, a skills framework, or a curriculum path, the work is about curating complexity and handing it back in a way that helps people grow.For me, this isn’t just about technology. It’s the same impulse that makes me enjoy craft in other corners of life: driving, music, even the way a well-built system hums. The details matter, and when you get them right, people notice.
