About Andrew Stinson

I am currently the Region Vice President, Manufacturing for US Foods Stock Yards, a national protein processing company. My role is responsible for overseeing seven meat processing facilities across the country. I am accountable for facility performance in the areas of quality, safety, productivity, and financial results. I also lead the Continuous Improvement department, directing initiatives and projects aimed at enhancing key operational KPIs. Prior to my positions with US Foods, I was employed by Kraft Heinz in Muscatine Iowa. My role at Kraft Heinz included the management of 8 high speed bottling and labeling production lines. The departments ran 3 shifts a day and produced over 25 million pounds of product a month. Prior to my role within production, I was the factory\'s Continuous Improvement manager where my work was focused on managing the plant\'s project deck for cost savings while leading various improvement projects. These projects included boosting production line efficiency and minimizing yield loss. This role helped develop my skills by forcing me to use outside of the box thinking and root cause analysis tools to effectively problem solve. I transitioned into this position in September of 2014 after completion of Heinz\'​ \"Operations Management Trainee\"​ program. Prior to Heinz, I was an intern for Parker Hannifin where I assisted in the development of an inventory tracking system for the maintenance department. The biggest impact of my internship was reducing the amount of downtime from machine failures as well as reduce total change-over times through an organized tracking system.I received my Bachelor\'s Degree from Ohio University in Engineering Technology & Management in 2014.
