Ik ben altijd geïnteresseerd geweest in gebouwen en andere civiele structuren, ook de uitdagingen die zich voordoen tijdens het bouwproces fascineerden me. Daarom was het voor mij een logische keuze om te beginnen aan de opleiding burgerlijk ingenieur bouwkunde.Na de master International Management & Strategy aan de Vlerick Business School, ben ik meteen begonnen in de offshore tak van DEME Group.
