The Equipment, Technology and Innovation group at HR Wallingford has grown significantly since I joined the company in 2007. Instead of winning, delivering and commissioning the projects I have now shifted focus into the winning work arena and now concentrate on identifying new opportunities together with the preparation and submission of tenders.This does not mean that I have lost touch with the delivery side, as so often is the case in small organisations, in order to manage the busy project delivery schedule it continues to be necessary to get involved in new product development, deliver smaller value projects and manage our customer\'s expectations for the post warranty enquiries that we receive.If I had to sum my job role up in one word that would have to be \"Exhilarating\".
