I am a semiconductor product, renewable energy, business P&L, and people leader with 33 years of experience. I have expertise in designing Mixed Signal IPs and Chips, Solar power projects, and managing global business unit P & Ls. I work at Enphase Energy as Senior Vice President, Chief People Officer, and Managing Director of India operations.My last job was to head design and engineering for solar power generation projects at SunEdison. This role leveraged the highly disciplined design engineering process knowledge I acquired from Semiconductor Chip designs. The responsibilities included energy yield analysis, technical specifications creation, engineering audits, and site problem-solving. I also led the innovations and cost reduction efforts for the India project portfolio of ~600MWs. In the past, I have worked at Cypress Semiconductor for 19 years and was a senior member of the E-Team (Executive Team) that managed Cypress\'s India site operations from 2008 to 2015. Key Accomplishments- Set up Enphase Energy\'s India operations in 2017 and grew it to 1700 employees working on product development, business operations, and customer services- Apart from being the India site leader and global people leader, I managed and groomed various engineering and business teams at the site. I also drive sales growth in India- Managed design and engineering for ~600MWs of Solar Power project portfolio at SunEdison India- Managed the development of 25+ new semiconductor products from the India site and took them to production. They include Programmable SoCs, USBs, Microcontrollers, Memory, and Clock generators- Grew the worldwide SRAM business to achieve #1 market share globally while growing PBT to 40%- Contributed significantly to the growth of Cypress\'s India site to a headcount of 600 in 2015 from 15 in 1996 by leading the offshore expansion of several new product family teamsI have a bachelor\'s degree in Electronics Engineering from REC (NIT) Calicut, India, and an Executive Program in General Management (EPGM) from MIT Sloan School of Management, Boston.
