ABOUT STEWART MCKIE
My offer is diverse, gained through 12 years in HMRC, almost a decade in the Music Industry and a growing portfolio in community based public service. I\'m at my best when helping people and organisations to grow sustainably and safely, whether that\'s through supporting organisations to develop and deliver winning strategies and successful programmes and projects, offering strong yet supportive scrutiny through my diverse perspective and growing body of experience at Board and Executive level across public, private and charity sectors, or offering my expertise in enforcement and compliance, change, risk management, governance, policy, data and insight and coaching to help get the foundations right for success. They say it takes a village to support a child. It took a community to support my late son Fraser, who passed away in 2021, and then my wife and I following his passing. This seminal moment in my life made me appreciate the positive and lasting impact that community-centred organisations like local authorities and charities can have on those most disadvantaged and in need of support.
