I am an experienced civil servant with 10 years experience in trade, helping to boost the country\'s economy at DBT. A former diplomat, I\'m also a CIM qualified marketer with experience in both B2B and skills sector marketing communications. After 17 years as a career diplomat in places like Bosnia, Russia, India and Gibraltar I moved into marketing for FCO Services - an Executive Agency of the Foreign Office. Having gained the CIM Professional Diploma, I did two stints in marketing for FCO Services, and two secondments in the skills sector. I\'ve now been in trade, with UK Trade & Investment, Department for International Trade and DBT for 10 years, in various roles.
