As a results-driven and visionary leader, I am passionate about finding better ways to improve the work lives of others. With my expertise in manufacturing, distribution, leadership, and project management, I have been able to make significant improvements in a variety of industries. I have encountered obstacles along the way but have learned from others. My aim has always been to help people and the companies they work for. As the CEO of ProjektFlow, LLC, I have co-led a \"safe to fail\" experiment for a histology laboratory that achieved impressive results. Within three months, slide production was up over 57%, overtime was down 26%, and lead time through the lab was down over 30%. Over the past year, the backlog of projects has significantly reduced from 50 to 12, and overtime hours have been reduced from 125 per week to 25 per week. At Arvense Group, LLC, I designed and led the implementation of the program management office and new project management methodologies for a $2.4B pharmaceutical company\'s IT department. This resulted in a 55% increase in on-time performance, reduced employee turnover, and cost savings of over $8MM. As the Director of Post Sales at Hitachi Data Systems Corp, I spearheaded the development of the first-ever Program Management Office, defined project management processes, and contributed to an annual 12% sales increase, 50% net profit increase, and 25% operating expenses decrease. I also managed public safety project management offices, lead project improvement initiatives, and successfully executed all programs. With a proven ability to identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions, I have achieved remarkable results, such as reducing project lead times by about 50%, increasing due date performance by over 100%, and achieving a 100% on-time delivery rate in March 2023. In the last 25 years, I went from a struggling, overworked, stressed out project manager to a leader of successful projects like NASCAR pit stop improvement projects and portfolios of projects for worldwide organizational transformations. My efforts are featured in one of Time Magazine’s 25 Most Influential Business Management Books, The Goal, by Eliyahu Goldratt. It contains an interview by Fortune Magazine’s Editor at Large about my experiences with the process of ongoing improvement.
