I work at the intersection of computer science, AI literacy, and future-ready education where I help school systems prepare students not just for today’s technology, but for a rapidly changing AI-driven world.As Head of Partnerships at Code4Kids, I lead U.S. district partnerships focused on building equitable, district-wide computer science and AI literacy pipelines in elementary and middle schools. My work involves collaborating directly with district leadership and teachers to move computer science beyond enrichment and into structured, sustainable classroom practice.My core belief: AI literacy without foundational computer science is fragile. Students need more than tools. They need to understand systems, data, logic, and how technology actually works if they are going to have agency, use AI critically, creatively, and responsibly in any career they choose. Before Code4Kids, I founded and led two international education companies (CulturaGo and TravelBud), serving college students across multiple countries and building programs at the intersection of education, intercultural learning, and workforce development. That experience shaped my systems-level view of education, access, and long-term student outcomes.Originally from South Africa and now based in the U.S, I bring a global perspective to conversations about education, technology, and the future of education and work.Outside of work, I’m a husband, a dad to two young kids, and a runner.
