Roar Trails is dedicated team of outdoor education professionals specializing in alternative provision, committed to supporting young people who face challenges in mainstream education - including those at risk of exclusion, with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND), or struggling with mental health challenges. They require a full stack solution for staff to log progress data of each young persons progress towards their custom targets, and to generate reports for the parents.This system will manifest in a front end web app, database, report creator function, auto-mailer - and will adhere to the highest level of GDPR data security requirements for storing this type of sensitive data. Providing ongoing hosting on my company GCP, and with next to no running costs - the client doesn\'t need to worry whatsoever about any of the infrastucture or technical challenges.

I have 11 years experience working in development with the last 7 specifically focused on data teams and data consumers, using SQL, BigQuery, GCP, Looker, and Python as my preferred tools - the preceding 5 years working as a web developer provided me with development skills and principles that I apply towards my work in data - this gives me a strong foundation of best practices and problem solving techniques.My specialty lies in the Google tech stack, which I use to design and maintain a functional data ecosystem, manage data governance, and perform big data analysis. Some of the areas I have applied these skills to include; inventory management, logistics, due diligence on acquisitions, customer segmentation and behaviour, finance, and customer service. I enjoy working with both technical and business stakeholders, and I am passionate about finding new ways to leverage data to drive growth and innovation.I very much enjoy leadership and particularly mentorship - I have a proven track record in training data analysts who have little to no experience in the field.
